Clinical Effects of Froben in Orthopedic Diseases

Abstract
Flurbiprofen (2-(2-fluoro-4-biphenylyl) propionic acid) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent which has significant anti-inflammatory, analgesics, and antipyretic properties and it has been postulated that these action may be mediated by inhibition of prostaglandin synthetase enzymes. -
We have carried out a clinical study of the Froben¢¥s effects to the orthopedic patients. "Thirty patients were comprised the present study and 19 cases were female and 11 cases -were male, and their age range were 12 to 68 years old.

Prior to, administration of Froben, careful examination of clinical symptoms which compl
ained by patients, and objective signs we checked and following results were obtained.
1. Froben was effective in rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis by 96.7% and not effective by 3.3%.
